PISTE FACTS: Longest Run: 15km

                     Total: 213km

Set in the Jungfrau mountain range, Wengen and neighbouring Grindelwald offer over 158km of piste on the local pass alone. The area pass also covers Murren.

Wengen has some beginner slopes and there are excellent English speaking lessons to be found here. For those a bit more advanced, there is plenty to choose from. There are loads of reds to cruise but if you're looking to test yourself, you could try the Lauberhorn World Cup downhill run, or the Black Rock run starting at the base of the Eiger. Over in Murren, test your board control on the Kanonenrohr, a famous black run which looks just about vertical!!

For the powder hounds, check out the slopes from Eigergletscher to Wengernalp, but there is generally pretty good off piste to be found in the area. There are also two half pipes in the region, a 'jumpers corner' and a terrain park at Schreckfeld.

Apres Ski

The traffic free main street is the hive of activity here. There is a good selection of bars, restaurants and apres ski entertainment to be found. You will find shopping, bars and restaurants, as well as activities such as ice skating, a sports centre with pool, snowshoeing and a cinema.
