Soll and Sheffau are part of the Ski Welt area - Austria's largest linked area with around 290km of pisted runs, all covered by the same lift pass!!

In Soll, there are beginner slopes near the town, and endless blue and red runs up on the mountain. The village is lively and has many cafe's, shops, restaurants, bars and a modern sports centre. Freeriders should head for the Hohe Salve, while freestyle riders should head for the terrain park and pipe above Hopfgarten, on the other side of the mountain.

In nearby Sheffau, the atmosphere is a little more relaxed on the apres ski front. There are good ski/snowboard schools making this a popular choice for mixed ability groups and families. Again, there are loads of blue and red runs to keep you amused on the piste. There is also a snowboard park but unfortunately no half pipe.

Apres Ski

Soll has a really good apres ski atmosphere, with a lively nightlife and plenty to do off the slopes. Sheffau has a more relaxed atmosphere, which makes it particularly popular with families. In the area, you will find horse drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing, ice skating and bowling to keep you occupied in the evening.
