PISTE FACTS: Longest Run: 6km

                     Total: 400km (Milky Way)

Sauze d'Oulx is in the area known as the Milky Way and is very popular with snowboarders and skiers alike. The Milky Way area as a whole offers over 400km of pisted runs, ensuring there is something for all abilities.

The area has benefitted from the investment pumped in for the Turin Winter Olympics of 2006 and offers great riding terrain, and a lively nightlife to match. There are loads of red runs to cruise, excellent off piste in nearby Sestriere for the powder hounds, and a terrain park for the freestyle-orientated. Good snow-making facilities also ensure that the snow conditions will be good throughout the season.

This is a popular party town, for good reason! Lively pubs, cocktail bars, restaurants and pizzerias, most of which are reasonably priced. There are also a number of activities to keep you amused off the snow. There is a weekly market, skidooing, and most importantly, the 2006 Olympic Bobsleigh Run! Take this once in a lifetime opportunity to hurtle down the 1435m long track at speeds of up to 135km an hour.
