PISTE FACTS: Longest Run: 6.8km

                     Total: 168km

Kitzbuhel is a world famous resort, and for good reason. There are two different areas at either side of the town - Kitzbuhelhorn and Hahnenkamm - offering over 168km of pisted runs in the local area alone. The resort benefits from great snow conditions and what feels like an endless choice of blue and red runs to cruise.

Wide open beginner runs can be found close to the town centre, while there is a massive range of runs for the intermediate rider looking to cruise the piste. For those looking for something a bit steeper, there are a handful of black runs including the famous Hahnenkamm world cup downhill ski run (the ski race this season takes place from 22-24 January 2010). Off piste, there is plenty of powder to be found and for freestyle riders, there are a lot of natural hits as well as a park and halfpipe.

Apres Ski

This is a lively resort for apres ski. There are stylish shops, as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars and clubs which stay busy until late! If you are looking for stuff to do off the slopes, there is ice skating, tobogganing, sleigh rides and a casino. Very good all round resort, making this one of the most popular in Austria for many years.
